Hey welcome to Globabloria. I am certain that most of you don't understand exactly what the class is about but I hope by the end of this semester you will have a better understanding of what Globaloria and what it is all about. We will be using the blogger to help you to express different ideas that you are learning through the class and also to help bounce ideas off others in the class and the program. The unique thing about Globaloria is that I will be learning alot of the concepts with you and working with you collaboratively while you are going through the class. Still not sure what Globaloria is? Take a minute and watch this video that gives a description of what Globaloira is all about.
That was a video featuring the founder of Globaloria Idit Caperton. The program has been in place now for four years and we have been fortunate enough here at DCHS to have the opportunity to become one of the new schools this year. This program has been put into place in middle school, high school, and even in college!!!
Just keep in mind that there are going to be times where this is going to get complicated and frustrating but it will be a great learning experience in the end. I can assure you all of that. I will leave you a quote from the great Red Green "Remember we are all in this together"!!!
